JUST IN: 48th Chi Omega Christmas Market Dates, Locations And Beneficiaries Announced)

It’s just never too early to start thinking about Christmas. So, you might want to start stuffing your piggy banks because the 48th Annual Chi Omega Christmas Market is all set. Taking place at Dallas Market Hall, the mega-shopping extravaganza will kick off with a preview party on Wednesday, September 24, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., a First Call Shopping on Thursday, September 25, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the flood-gates-for-shopping starting that day from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and finally Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

According to COCM Co-Chairs Karen Hunt, Debbie Lang and Nancy Woodall, the shop-a-thon will benefit the key areas — arts, civic, education, health and welfare.

As a result, the 2025 beneficiaries will include Beacon Hill Preparatory Institute, Broadway Dallas, Community Partners of Dallas, Connecting Point of Park Cities, Make-A-Wish North Texas, New Friends New Life, Sleep in Heavenly Peace TX-Dallas/Fort Worth, SPCA of Texas and The Magdalen House. . College scholarships also will be supported.

As 2024-2025 Beneficiary Chair Emily Thorsen Blair explained, “Each year Chi Omega Christmas Market supports a diverse array of non-profit organizations that represent some of the most critical needs in the Dallas  community, as well as collegiate scholarships. We are so grateful to our community, shoppers, patrons and sponsors who support the Market and allow us to donate essential funds each year to these deserving beneficiaries.”

Since 1978, the COCM “has donated $11M to support more than 154 different worthy Dallas-area beneficiaries who serve our community.”
